Michelle S. Lee

Michelle S. Lee is President and CEO of STG International, Inc. (STGi), a $145+ million firm specializing in providing Human Capital Management, Head Start T&TA Support, and Healthcare Services to the federal government.

Prior to founding the firm in 1997, Ms. Lee held over 25 years in leadership roles at large consulting firms. Ms. Lee possesses a Masters degree from Texas Woman’s University and has been recognized as a leader in her industry. In 2006, Ms. Lee was recognized by the Washington Business Journal as one of 25 "Women Who Mean Business." The following year, she was honored by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce’s Northern Virginian Government Contractors Council (GovCon), the Professional Services Council (PSC), and Washington Technology Magazine as a finalist for the Executive of the Year. Ms. Lee has been invited to address several business organizations including the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and National Association for Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Inc Magazine ranked STGi among the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States in 2005 and 2006. For five consecutive years beginning in 2006, Washington SmartCEO Magazine honored STGi as one of the Greater Washington area’s Future 50 Companies while Washington Technology Magazine has included the firm on its Fast 50 list. Both awards speak to the company’s exponential growth in recent years.

A firm believer in community service, Ms. Lee is honored to serve on the board of directors for Washington Hospital Center Foundation, the largest private hospital in our nation's capital. Ms. Lee is also a board member for Service Source Network, a non-profit organization that provides job training and support services to persons with disabilities.

Ms. Lee’s success can be attributed to her tolerance for taking risks. "No fear" and "Enjoy challenges" are part of Ms. Lee’s everyday vocabulary and philosophy on how to live life.
